Mike Martindale has dedicated over three decades to public education, including 16 impactful years in College Station ISD. His career spans roles as principal, CFO, deputy superintendent, and ultimately superintendent—each one deepening his commitment to student success and community partnership.

Even in retirement, Mike’s connection to CSISD remains strong. His wife teaches at College Station High School, and both of their children, Ava and Cooper, are proud graduates of CSISD schools. The district has played a central role in his family’s life, and now Mike is stepping forward to give back in a new way.

His leadership helped guide CSISD through strategic planning, facility upgrades (2021 Bond, 2023 Comprehensive Facilities Condition Assessment and chartering of 2023 Long Range Facilities Planning Committee), and financial initiatives that directly benefited teachers (2022 TRE) and students. Mike’s experience, integrity, and passion for education make him uniquely equipped to serve on the Board of Trustees.
